Mike Whitehead’s Rape Case to Start Sept 28th

Mike Whitehead has fought a slew of tough guys throughout his career. He has battled against Kevin Randleman, King Mo, Babalu, Mark Kerr, Brandon Vera, and Tim Sylvia.

Each of those fighters are household names, but none were able to put him down for the count like his current one could.

Mike Whitehead is in hot water! Someone is screaming “Rape.”

Don’t forget in America, everyone is innocent until proven guilty… Except in the courts of public opinion.

In a “not in MMA” type of moment, Whitehead is currently dealing with some nasty charges. Mike is in the middle of major drama, and his fight career may be on hold… Permanently!

The preliminary hearing for his rape case will go down September 28th.

If you somehow missed this story, Mike Whitehead is being accused of rape by one woman, and other things by another.

The quick version is like this.

The accusing woman went to a party at Mike’s house. She was having a good time and had too much to drink, prompting her to pass out in Whitehead’s bed. Sounds like too much of Mike’s Hard Lemonade…

She may have had a good night, but when she awoke she was in the middle of a nightmare. Mike was having sex with her. She ”demanded” he stop but he continued for about three minutes.

A second girl who witnessed the act is stating that Mike groped her.

This is the quick version of this story (and her side). September 28th the rest of things will be put on the table. If Whitehead is convicted he could see serious jail time.

On the other hand, Mike very well could be innocent. In today’s world, people are shady and will try to earn a buck any way possible.

He would not be the first professional athlete (although he is no MJ or Tiger) chosen to be extorted. One would wonder how much Whitehead could give, but it is a possibility.

This story also has another element that is for some reason not being included. When the police performed a search in reference to this case, they also found that Whitehead has a green thumb.

It is still illegal to partake in the growing of Marijuana, so they frowned upon his special little garden. Those charges are being applied separately.

All in all this case is ugly, and it could get worse. As the story continues to come out, we will be all over it here at MMAOpinion.
