Kelly Kobold Out of Friday’s Fight; Salgado Steps In
By Yael Grauer on Feb 26, 2010

Number 5 ranked Featherweight fighter Kelly Kobold (16-3-1) was set to make a comeback after a 16-month layoff, but has pulled out of the bout due to injury. Kobold was set to face Jessica Kinnetz from Iowa.
Kinnetz will now be fighting Madelina Salgado. Amateur records are always sketchy, but Salgado is recorded as having lost one match in October ’08 by 1st round RNC, whereas Jessica is listed as having a 1-2 pro record. However, Kinnetz fights in Iowa where fight records are virtually nonexistent. Kinnetz may actually hold closer to five or six wins, including a win over Megan Engleen by rear naked choke in August ‘09.
