Sarah Kaufman
TALKING WOMEN’S MMA
I was a featured guest on Cage Cast 66, and Zak from Watch Kalib Run and I talked about women’s MMA the whole entire episode. Make sure to check it out.
UPCOMING FIGHTS
The undefeated Sarah Kaufman (10-0) is taking on top prospect Takayo Hashi (12-1) in this title bout at Strikeforce Challengers Series 6 in San Jose. Check out the fight breakdown on MMA HQ.
Superstar Kelly Kobold (16-3-1) is fighting Jessica Kinetz (1-2). Kobold has been out of the fight scene for close to a year and a half and has lost her last three bouts but is looking to make a comeback, starting with this match at Brutaal MMA in Minneapolis this Friday. (I will be live tweeting from cageside–I’m @treelizard).
Two fights are taking place in Brazil. Amanda Nunes (4-1) is fighting Ediane “India” Gomes (5-0) at Bitteti Combat 6, and Carina Damm (14-3) is taking on a *cough* far less experienced opponent *cough* in Aline Sergio (1-0) at Jungle Fights 16.
Revelina “Nano” Berto (3-0) is fighting former pro boxer Yvonne Reis (0-2) at RFC 20: Stacked. Caroline “The Rare Ninja” Portuagal is also fighting Diana Rael on this card; both are making their professional debuts.
Stepping up in weight, Alyx Luck (2-1) is fighting Elsie Henri (1-2) at KOTC: Starlight in Colorado.
