UFC 105 Preview and Prediction: Can Bisping Bounce Back?
By Curtis Clontz on Nov 13, 2009
The UFC will invade Manchester England this weekend. Coming to Spike for free all the way from across the pond, the fighters are looking to put on a show. One interesting thing is that this event will be shown on ESPN in the UK! Could you imagine if it was on the world wide leader here in the U.S.? Support the crew! Here is who Bryan picked, here is who Robert picked.
Michael Bisping is the best British UFC fighter ever! Although that could hold much weight, it truly doesn’t. The Count is looking to rebound from the most devastating loss of his career! Boxing 101, don’t circle into the power hand of your opponent…Bisping did it and was violently introduced to the power of Dan Henderson. It will be interesting to see the affect of that fight on the mental game of Bisping.

Losses like that seem to stick with a ton of fighters. He was not only knocked out, but he never really appeared to be comfortable in the fight. Bisping could still be questioning his skill set, training, game planning, and more. Unfortunately this is no easy fight! Michael can not afford to have any semblance of a fight hangover!
Throughout his career The Count has always seemed to beat the guys that he was supposed too. At the same time, he has never truly been able to secure that career changing win.
His premier win since joining the UFC is against Matt Hamill (insert random joke here). Haha, very funny, nice joke… I agree, I don’t think he really beat Hamill either.
His UFC losses have came at the hands of Dan Henderson and Rashad Evans.
Denis Kang is no Hendo or Sugar. He is smaller than Bisping. He has 32 wins but is 1-1 in the UFC with a loss to Alan Belcher. Kang has fought all around the world and has a solid striking game, but he shouldn’t be much of a match for Michael Bisping.
Prediction:
I see this one going to decision. I dont’ feel that Bisping is completely over the Hendo loss. Knowing that Kang is a solid striker he will push for the fight to go to the ground. He will be hesitant early, but eventually get it to the ground. It is a 3 round fight, and I don’t think he will be able to finish the fight.

I think Bisping should have stayed at 205. No power or strength at middleweight. And I think it was a close fight with Hamill, but if you notice Bisping actually escaped away from a very good wrestler at 205, I do not thing he could do that with a good wrestler at 185.
