Strikeforce Challengers Series: Highlight Photos
By Josh Stein on Nov 07, 2009
So, my angle (as usual) wasn’t the best for the event, but it was an amazing show, so I’m pretty happy with it.
The fight of the night, for me was Shane del Rosario (9-0 MMA) vs. Brandon Cash (5-1 MMA), though I imagine I’ll get into why, exactly, tomorrow (after posting the video to the fights). That said, the whole event was awesome, despite a clear judging failure in the third fight.
Here are some of the pictures I got (the rest will be available on MMAPrints).
Rico Altamirano defeated Alex Trevino (white trunks) via U.D.
Per wardog's request.
Zoila Frausto (black and pink) and Elisha Hellspur proved what most of us already knew: chicks can fight.
Not a great shot, but Cole Escovedo (top) canned Maurice Eazel quickly.
Shane del Rosario (black and white) finished with an omoplata after taking a beating.
Jorge Gurgel (pictured) may have lost a decision, but he put on a helluva fight.
