The undercard fights seemed more exciting. I mean the Stevenson and Johnson wins were extremely one sided. Tibau's win was ok but aside from the takedowns even the grappling part was lacking. Rothwell vs. Velasquez was one sided and a controversial stoppage. Rothwell was getting to his feet, but possibly only to get punched and taken down, because he had not done anything up to that point.

As far as the Machida vs. Rua fight. Well leg kicks will not always win you a fight when it comes to the judges. You have to remember these guys are probably boxing judges and if you watch the fight closely Machida had the better exchange of punches and high kicks. Leg kicks with boxing judges may no amount to much in their eyes. Not saying its right, but that may be how it is.
