Forrest Griffin Talks! Says he is no Tom Brady…
By Curtis Clontz on Sep 26, 2009
I had the pleasure of attending UFC 101 in Philadelphia. It was a great time and we enjoyed every bit of the action. It was incredible to see such a performance by Anderson Silva that night (here is a vid). He truly put a beating on Forrest Griffin. Here is the first interview since that smashing….
I couldn’t get the video to embed so the full interview from Forrest can be found at this link…
Throughout the video he talks about the Silva loss, being a role model (very Charles Barkley like), and why he is not currently training!

Forrest is right on about certain things, while he’s funny he can come off as a jerk sometimes. At least he’s laughing about the Silva fight. I would love to see a rematch with Tito.
He really didn’t say much about the fight. It’s cool that he is able to laugh about it and not moan about any excuses or lingering injuries prior to the fight. I’m sure he’s going to get interviewed again and asked about UFC 101, but in the end, what can he really say about the fight???
What do you think abou the cheap shot the interviewer took about Griffin running? That was pretty gutsy.
I would like to see him fight in December against just about anybody . . . Franklin or Jardine. Eventually it would be cool to see a rematch against Shogun.
