So Dana White doesn’t hate Scott Coker?

According to Dave Meltzer, he has nothing against him.
[Dana] White also said they are not going to counter program Strikeforce’s debut of Fedor Emelianenko with a live show and that he has nothing against Strikeforce, that his issues are with Showtime. He didn’t explain why other than say they are losing to HBO in boxing and will lose to someone other than HBO in MMA. He said he’s proven he can show a replay show and beat Showtime. I guess when you are in more than five times as many homes, just having more gross viewers constitutes a win.
It’s good to know that MMA fans will not have to make a choice later this year when Fedor Emelianenko makes his Strikeforce debut against the undefeated Brett ‘The Grim’ Rogers.

I will believe it when I see it! Dana might not counter once, but give it some time.
Well he respects Coker as a promoter, so he may allow him to expand a bit before trying to stifle any further growth. Honestly, there are few people who could put together an organization to rival the UFC in less than a few years. Regional promotions have a better chance that the bigger guys like Affliction, the IFL, and Bodog. They tried to get too big too quickly.
