One betting guideline that I go by is if a fighter's odds are over +500 it at least warrants a small bet. I don't trust them enough yet to put up real money on a M-1 bout. Same goes for Pride (when it was alive)...you never know when organized crime is pulling strings in the background. IMO, this is a pretty good line--much of linesmaking is not trying to gauge the relative odds of the proposition, but the public perception of the proposition. Kerr is viewed as a shot fighter, King Mo an up and comer. You're correct that the 'true odds' should be a lot shorter, but if they were the book would get sided with money on King Mo. At this price, as you note there's some interest on Kerr.
