Brandt,
What would be crazy is if the UFC decided to do Grand Prix tournament of their own, of course it would have to be an event OUTSIDE the continental U.S.

BTW, in my opinion if A. Silva decides to move up in weight and defeat Mir, then I think pound (167) for pound (185) for pound (205) for pound (206+) Silva is definitely the best fighter.

Joachim Hansen is ineligible because he hasn't fought for a year. His last fight was in July of '08.

UFC needs openweight fights. As long as it's not a heavyweight vs. a lightweight, it could be pretty fun. I know that this has little to do with rankings, but Vee's comments about A. Silva fighting at HW made me think about it again. I miss Pride.

Just random thoughts:
Lightweights:
Wassup with Hellboy?
I was recently thinking how much value does a recent victory against a credible fighter factors against a fighter who recently loss but has an incredible record. Example: Sean Sherk (33-4) - Frankie Edgar (10-1) What do you think?

Welterweights
Wow you guys gave Matt Hughes some proper respect. Was it just because he recently beat Matt Serra or because he has an incredible record?

Light Heavyweight
At least you guys gave Mousasi some respect. He has an impeccable record and defeated a heavyweight fighter.

Heavyweight
Frank Mir defeated Big Nog but I still feel weird about seeing Mir ranked above a fighter with an incredible record against top-notch competition. (31-5-1, 1 No Contest)
Here's a hypothetical question, if Anderson Silva actually decides to face and defeat Frank Mir in a heavyfight, maybe after defeating another top ranked LHW fighter . . . does he enters the top 10 heavyweight ranks?
