Rumor Mill: UFC to announce Fedor deal on Friday

According to Dave Meltzer over at F4WOnline, Dana White is set to announce the signing of Fedor Emelianenko at a press conference on Friday. Emelianenko would be given access to immediately fight Brock Lesnar for the UFC Heavyweight belt as soon as possible. The news come from a credible source outside of the UFC through Lance Pugmire of The Los Angeles Times. The UFC announced that they would be holding a press conference on Friday just a little earlier today.
Apparently this isn’t even the biggest news of the week from the UFC. Could they be announcing a partnership with ESPN? More details to follow.

I sure hope Dana White can get this deal done and actually bring Fedor to the UFC. Everyone wants to see this dude face Lesner. It will be a great fight…if it ever happens.
Fedor signs with Strikeforce on Wednesday July 29, on Friday July 30 Dana announces he has acquired Affliction MMA, but not the Fedor contract. lol at least I am not saying someone is dying.
Haha. And there’s another big announcement. Big week for UFC either way.
