The pound-for-pound criteria is so inconsistent that it doesn't really have an impact on real rankings. Pound-for-pound discussions become an issue, fairly quickly, of "which #1 divisional fighter do you like the most." There are a handful of members of the panel that really think the idea is pretty weak, so we'll stick to ranking in weightclasses, though we'll certainly be adding weight classes (women's divisions and, potentially, a men's flyweight division) over the long term.
