Odds for UFC 100
By Josh Stein on Jul 09, 2009
Well, I’ve been trying to get better at keeping track of odds for the sport of MMA, and one of the sites that’s been incredibly helpful is BestFightOdds , which I recommend for those who like tracking gambling patterns. Without further shenanigan, the numbers indexed by BestFightOdds (best odds are listed on the left, worst on the right, but for the numbers in between and the sources, check out the link).
Brock Lesnar -210/-250 vs. Frank Mir +193/+170
Georges St. Pierre -270/-435 vs. Thiago Alves +268/+210
Dan Henderson -200/-250 vs. Michael Bisping +199/+155
Yoshihiro Akiyama -224/-333 vs. Alan Belcher +220/+190
Jon Fitch -400/-600 vs. Paulo Thiago +400/+280
Stephan Bonnar -323/-435 vs. Mark Coleman +300/+250
Jon Jones -348/-500 vs. Jake O’Brien +325/+280
Shannon Gugerty -125/-145 vs. Matt Grice +115/-105
C.B. Dollaway -240/-265 vs. Tom Lawlor +215/+175
Jim Miller -186/-200 vs. Mac Danzig +167/+145
Dong Hyun Kim -220/-275 vs. T.J. Grant +215/+180
Interesting numbers. I’m not sure how Coleman and O’Brien end up being bigger underdogs than Thiago, but I guess there are a lot of hardcore Jon Fitch fans, and the guy is 9-1 in the UFC, with the only loss being a UD against Georges, so it makes some sense. Should be a great event.
