But overall it was a good night of fights. I knew Serra lost, I said he would, and I hoped to be wrong. He just didn't do enough on the ground. Hughes fought the way Sherk Should have, take down and control on top. Although he really did nothing every sub attempt he escaped got him points. Sherk won't be done, he'll shoot up and be back. Neither fighter was impressive. And Serra had all the potential to shine tonight. I think Matt pushed the fight forward just enough to win the judges over. In hind site Serra should have went to the ground early and went to work. Machida is awesome. Great site I love it and can't stop reading. I think the Hughes/Serra fight was bland over all.
