MMA Opinion’s UFC 98 Contest!
By Brandt DeLorenzo on May 02, 2009
It feels like we just got done with giving away some great prizes for UFC 97 and we’re back already! We are giving away a copy of the UFC Undisputed 2009 video game for Xbox 360 or Playstation 3 (we’ll ask which game console you have when you win), the book Total MMA: Inside Ultimate Fighting, A Matt Hughes Round 5 figure, and a Gladiator Challenge DVD . We may add more items if enough people decide to participate, so tell Mom and Dad, bug your little brother, call Aunt Wanda, and tell them all to pick their fighters for the UFC 98 Contest, only on MMA Opinion!
Rules: Select the winner, round and stoppage type for each of the five main even bouts at UFC 98. You will receive points only if your fighter wins his respective fight. If a fighter drops out or does not fight for any reason, that fight will not count in this contest. You may only enter once to keep things fair.
Bonus: Sign up on MMA Opinion (its free!) and upload a picture of yourself (or your kid, favorite fighter, pet etc…) to receive 5 bonus points!
Scoring: You will receive 5 points if you guess the winner of the fight. You will receive 4 more points if you guess the correct round. You can also receive 3 additional points if you guess the correct stoppage type. Due to UFC 94, corner stoppage has been added to this contest(thanks BJ Penn!).
Tie Breaker: Guess the attendance number for the MGM Grand Garden Arena for UFC 98. The closest number, higher or lower, will win the tie breaker. The tie-breaker is worth 5 points.
Open to U.S. and Canada residents. All entries must be received before 9PM ET on May 23rd. Items will ship within two weeks via media mail to the address you provide.
