The syntax isn't just adjusted Portugese (or the Brazilian dialect). The translator just isn't very good. Definitely not a native english speaker, but that's true for Gracie Mag a lot of the time too. Sometimes they just kill idioms. It's kinda entertaining. Yeah, I think they do.
