I’m pretty surprised how many people are “complaining” about this event. As far as good matchmaking goes, the main card is fantastic. Most notable for me are: Hamill/Munoz, Miller/Maynard, and Carwin/Gonzaga.
Hamill and Munoz should be a great matchup between two powerhouse collegiate wrestlers. Both are fantastic on the ground and solid on the feet. Munoz in the WEC finished both of his fights by 1st round TKO.
Miller and Maynard is another matchup of great wrestlers. I think Maynard will need to keep it on the feet a bit more than he would like to. I would say Miller has the edge on the all around submission grappling.
Carwin and Gonzaga should go without saying. Here we have two agressive heavyweights. One has blown through his first two opponents in the first round and remains undefeated, while the other one knocked out one of the most feared strikers in the world.
I don’t know about others but I’m certainly excited.

Garrett, we’ll talk about bringing you guys into the podcasts some time soon.
I’m not complaining about the main event, but I’m not excited for it. I don’t see the point of Jardine vs. Rampage and the implications in the LHW division if either of them win. I’ll watch, but most likely at a local establishment. I don’t see why I should shell out $55 for this. The rest of the fights should be fun, but I’m not totally hyped for any one in particular yet.
This is a solid card if you like names.
