Chick Fight: T-X vs. “Girlfight Monster” for Strikeforce April 11 Event

Cristiane “Cyborg” Santos will fight Hitomi “Girlfight Monster” Akano for Srikeforce’s April 11 event in San Jose according to MMajunkie. Cyborg last fought October 4th, in what would be the second to last EliteXc event with a victory over Yoko Takashi.
Hitomi “Girlfight Monster” Akano competed in SmackGirl and various other promotions and is 4-3 since 2007. However she is on a 3 fight winning streak, beating Hari Hari by armbar in Jewels 1 in November 2008.
Strikeforce’s April 11 event is headlined by Frank Shamrock vs. Nick Diaz and airs on Showtime.

Akano is a world class grappler (and one of the top female Japanese judoka), so this sould be a fun fight. Cyborg is the obvious favorite (and for good reason), but I’m excited.
