Jeremy Horn cut from the UFC?
By Curtis Clontz on Feb 18, 2009
This is pure speculation and has not been confirmed by anyone related to the UFC or his camp. The reason I am posting this is because the recent cuts by the UFC had me thinking, so I did a search of the site to see if any notable names didn’t stand out. The list of all fighters goes from Hironaka to Horwich. Shocked I decided to search for Horn, no reply. Therefor I am officially starting the rumor that Jeremy Horn may be in danger of being cut from the UFC, if he hasn’t already been released.
For those of you that aren’t familiar with Horn, he is a true pioneer of the sport. Possibly a future UFC Hall of Famer he has over 100 professional MMA fights over his career. He has 80 victories. He has fought Matt Lindland, Randy Couture, Dean Lister, Chael Sonnen, Chuck Liddell, Josh Burkman, Anderson Silva, Babalu, Ricardo Arona, Forrest Griffin, Frank Shamrock, and many many more.
Although he has more fights than a couple of pro fighters combined he hasn’t done well of late. He has lost his last 3 fights and hasn’t won a fight in the UFC in almost 3 years.
If this rumor comes to be true (and I hope it doesn’t) then he will truly be missed.
