I think a lot of people here missed the point of the comments section. The point is to respond to the content and refute the opinion of the article, not bash the writer. Save bashing for personal e-mails to the writer. I’ll welcome them with open arms.

I guess the maturity level is clearly shown in this comment thread. The motto seems to be: “I don’t agree with your opinion, so I’m going to personally attack you.”

Its pretty obvious that we are all writers on the site.

Evan left a comment, but calling the article a joke left him wide open. Rebuttals are welcome and enjoyed. Writer bashing is played out already.

I feel that in ALL sports today their is something known as swagger!

Being confident is a part of the game. The mental side that gets often over looked. Part of that confidence is being able to talk the talk. Although I don’t always agree with the Rashad Evans type of antics I do see a place for them in MMA. There will always be a good guy and a bad guy. Hate him for the comments you still have to agree that it was a picture perfect arm-bar. If he wants to say that was his goal then good on him for being honest. In my opinion this isn’t as bad as Babalu holding onto a choke too long, or Penn licking blood. It may not be tasteful but his remarks have a place in the sport.

If you do a search, you’ll see that Josh Stein and Dustin work together at this website. So, he’s not really giving an objective opinion. Just coming on here to defend his buddy.

These guys are pure class. A reader (evan) gives his opinion on the article, and a co-worker from the website shows up and starts calling him names.

Quality stuff, fellas!

The public has already spoken. The article is junk.
Go check out sherdog and mma.tv and see what others have to say.

Dustin is a middle-school level writer with bottom shelf opinions, and reading this article is a waste of time…no matter what his boyfriend Josh Stein has to say.

And the angle that “if it gets people talking, then its GOOD” and that Dustin has baited the public, doesn’t fly.

This article is an epic failure.

First freakin’ sentence….and it continues on from there. I am not even trying to be mean, just suggesting that the writer focuses a bit on editing before posting. The sentence structure is really poor throughout the piece.

Just for the record, I didn’t see any glaring grammatical errors in this post and had no problem reading it. And I’m a writer by trade. Seems to me the above comments were written by a couple of guys sitting around with their thumbs up their asses and little else to do but be trolls.
