Is Leben ready for Bisping at UFC 89?
By Brandt DeLorenzo on Oct 13, 2008
Here’s a new Myspace photo. This Chris Leben doesn’t look anything like the Chris Leben we’ve seen in the past. Take a look at the Leben from 2006 and you’ll see a pudgy middleweight with little definition. Compare that to the picture below. I’d say he’s looking as good as we’ll ever see him.
He’ll be up against a very lean and tough Michael Bisping at 185 pounds so don’t assume that either side will easily take this fight. We may see the next (or repeat) title contender out of this slugfest in Birmingham next week.
Can Leben make his comback?

Damn. Chris looks shredded.
I’ll be rooting for him against Bisping, because he’s a Quest guy, a fun fighter and a warrior who’s fallen on some hard times. He’s got my respect.
I hope he is ready! This should be a good fight.
I think he can win this. He’s matured alot from the time he was on TUF up until now. He’s looking in great shape.
I would like to see it! After he knocks him out watch out for the spritz!
