Jim Rome Blasts EliteXC
By Curtis Clontz on Oct 07, 2008
ESPN has been accused of avoiding the MMA rage, but they are slowly coming around. They now have an MMA show on ESPN.com and after the announcement of Brock vs. Randy the two were everywhere. One of the things that makes ESPN the world wide leader is the great mix of personalities around the network. Colin Cowherd to Scott Van Pelt, they all have different but interesting views. Another one of these charismatic hosts is Jim Rome. Rome is known for his ability to get under the athletes skin and tell things just how they are. Check out what he had to say about Kimbo and the EliteXC.

I couldn’t agree with Rome more about EXC.
Me too! He never holds back. Unlike some of the ESPN guys he seems to know what he is talking about.
I refuse to listen to this guy…I wish Rome was burning, literally. Haha
wow…haha too much for ya?
Well he wasn’t too bad there, but he hosts pro-boxing/anti-MMA people like Lampley. Lampley is the guy that I can’t stand…because of him and his little buddies, I refuse to watch boxing anymore.
Jim Rome is great, he don’t care! Look up his interview with Jim (Chris) Everett on Youtube…lol pure comedy! Straight to a fight!
Unlike some sports guy like Jay Mariotti, Rome is very consistent with his opinions.
