Yea, I don’t understand the whole nipple thing…him and St. Pierre both have some weird thing going on.

Spectacular. Wouldn’t be surprised if the nipple twist made it to the official fighter introductions ritual in the future :D

GOT KNOCKED THE FUCK OUT! A boxer does it again. Put I said it before and I am saying it again……put a boxer in there and it’s LIGHTS OUT! That is why I prefer watching boxing. This fight was too easy…..Chuck had his hands low the whole fight. Evans saw it and I saw it. Evans positioned himself right before throwing the overhand when Chuck closed in. Too easy.

evans is no more a boxer than the rest of them. he fights out of new mexico with jackson’s submission fighting. rashad has only 4 wins by ko in 15 fights. in 2005 after competing in wrestling for many years (2 time all-state) he became assistant coach for the michigan state wrestling program. put a boxer in there with 5 years of submission grappling and 8 years of wrestling and then MAYBE its lights out. gotta be able to stay upright to throw a punch…

Look, these guys are really really good athletes but if they are faced with a professionally trained and determined quality boxer they will be knocked out. In saying that, I prefer UFC as a sporting forum. But no UFC fighter could live with a top ten fighter, yet.

never seen a boxer do well in mma. you must be well rounded to win. 3 nites a week or more mma fighters are going to the boxing gym and training just because a guy can wrestle doesnt mean he cant learn what the boxers know.

    SEAN IS INSANE!!!!

A Regular straight up Boxer Would get destroyed in a MMA fight!!!!

Do you have any idea how these guys train????

    it isnt all just punchin!!!

LET ME SEE THE TAKEDOWN DEFENSE OF A REGULAR BOXER!!!! even funnier, let me see his guard, he will without a doubt get slaughtered!!!

    Sorry Bud, Boxing Is DEAD!!!!

Roy Jones, Oscar…..Mike Tyson, whoever else would get hammered in the MMA!!!
    PERIOD!!!

    liddell is done!

he has had an unbelievable run….

but its over, he can comeback as many times as he wants, but its still gonna be lights out!!!
    everyone knows his game!!!

No Mike Tyson would not lose to any mma fighter first and foremost. He is WAY too strong to be taken down second of all he has WAY too much power. He has knocked out other boxers in one punch, think of the damage he’d do WITHOUT boxing gloves.Think long and hard, broken jaw maybe? But Roy and Oscar would get slaughtered because they aren’t built for MMA.I’m a fan of both so I’m not taking any sides but there are fighters in both sports that could pass easily in the other.Like Mike Tyson.

Wow, dontwurrboutit, your delusional-ness is astonishing.

Often I get asked “if you could see one athlete from another sport compete in MMA, who would it be?” My answer is always Iron Mike, but without training, he’d get killed in MMA.

He had solid legs and may very well have had good takedown defense, but that wouldn’t have mattered.

In MMA, you have to understand the kick and the clinch. Tyson didn’t know either of those two things. You can build a career on punches, but if you meet a striker who can use those kicks and utilize the clinch effectively, then that’s going to break you. Look at what happened when Rich Franklin met Anderson Silva.

i have fought a few boxers in my time and once they are taken down its like they’ve never fought before. boxing has evolved into mma! boxing is a good skill to have and being able to strike is necessary. but any straight up boxer wouldn’t even step in the mma if they were half intelligent

    well said cory

i would like to see tyson fight while on his back, lol
    horror show!!!

besides, has anyone seen tyson lately, or heard interviews in the last couple years?

hes completely out of shape, and doesnt want to fight anymore. so, we should all stop the talk about tyson ever coming back, cause that will never happen
