Randy Couture vs. Fedor Emelianenko in L.A.
By Brandt DeLorenzo on Aug 29, 2008
It looks like there are pictures of Randy Couture and Fedor Emelianenko grappling in Los Angeles out on the web. Apparently the two will be featured in an upcoming issue of FightSport Magazine. It’s not the first time that the two heavyweight fighters met; they filmed a commercial together back in January. Enough talk, here are some of the pictures.

What’s really interesting is to see these two guys standing next to each other. I always forget that Fedor isn’t very tall (because his arms are so long and he disposes of larger opponents so easily) even compared to normal sized heavyweights like Couture.
Honestly, though, I think that this is the Ali/Frasier of our generation, two of the greatest warriors going at it to really put on a show for us. This, if if happens, is going to be an incredible spectacle, and it’ll change the heavyweight division.
I may sound a little misty-eyed and optimistic over this, but it’s the truth. Fighters like these guys go to war and they show us the kind of stuff we’ve never seen from them in other fights. We see new gameplans, we see new ideas and new ways to utilize techniques.
This fight really has alot to offer the sport and, while I think Fedor will pull it out, I think that Randy, being the genius that he is, will make it interesting.
Lol, Randy’s sooo in love with Fedor. Wouldn’t be surprised to know that his wife caught him jerking off on Fedor’s pic
I definitely agree, Josh. Couture and Fedor are the two smartest, classiest warriors out there. Both highly respected by everyone in the MMA community. I just really hope the fight can go down before Randy gets too old.
