MMA’s Top Hater!

Bill O’Rielly is at it again. He has returned to bash the sport we love with an uneducated bias that could hurt Mixed Martial Arts. A while ago, Dana White and Rich Franklin joined Bill O’Reilly on The O’Reilly Factor. That video can be seen here. Throughout the great video, Dana and Rich tell Bill about the safe side of the sport and argue about its safety. Bill keeps to his stance and doesn’t waver at all. Dana states several times that there has never been a death or serious injury in the sport in 12 years (the video was taped a prior to the recent death of Sam Vasquez).
In his new video, Bill again states that this sport is brutal, and that CBS is lowering their standards to put it on television. He says that the move is strictly a move for money. I will let you watch the video and make your own decision. There are many people around the world that have the same views as this man. These are the ones that make it hard to sanction the sport in other states. If there is a black cloud following the sport, it is caused by people with this opinion.

this is an old video…(not that old but i seen it last month)
It is O’Reilly’s newest video hating on MMA. For such a smart man, he is totally against educating himself about the sport and learning that it it isn’t human cockfighting.

Every time I see I see a post like this, with one of these videos, the irony amazes me.
How many people do you think are watching this video and saying “MMA on prime time? When? Where? Gotta watch that…” I’ve seen Fox provide more advertising for Saturday Night Fights than I’ve seen from EliteXC or CBS.
On the flip side, there’s a reason I don’t watch Bill O’Reilly or Fox news, but I’ve been subjected to it more than ever recently by fellow MMA fans. I just have to ask “who gives a crap what these people think?”, not me.
MMA fans everywhere, I urge you, let’s not watch Fox News (and the like), and they don’t have to watch MMA. Let them go on their damn crusade by themselves. Let’s watch two champions fight and not fight with these a-holes. They’re not going to ruin MMA or have it banned nation-wide. Ironically, they’re just going to attract more viewers.
