-Bodog offered him 3 million to fight Fedor Emelianenko “a year ago”. He went to Dana White and the Fertitta’s and they offered a fight with Tim Sylvia, so he took it. Feels he’s been loyal.
-Says he has “fights” left in him, but only wants Fedor.
-Under UFC contract for “a minimum of nine months”, and will only fight Fedor if he fights in UFC again.

-Dana made comments leaning towards wanting Randy to come back when they spoke. Dana claimed on his press conference they hadn’t talked since Randy came back from South America.
-Zuffa “almost a monopoly”. indicated (not a quote) that if his move inspires fighters to form a union, he was fine with that.
-on leaving to fight elsewhere: “I’m not trying to go fight anywhere else.”
-He’s not sure what he’d need to hear face to face from Zuffa to want to come back.
-”I have no idea” on if he’d talk to Bodog in nine months.
-believes Sylvia fight did 520,000 and final Chuck fight did 600,000, and his final fight did around 500,000. Says you can’t get a straight answer on buyrates of PPV and makes it tough to get a percentage. will audit the UFC to find buyrates of last fight (in August).
-”I’m just tired of feeling this way” on why he walked away. “It’s disappointing it’s come to this”.
-wants to “stop and smell the roses”. Couture wants to spend time with his wife, do more acting, and train more with his team at Xtreme Couture.
-was once offered a contract with Pride to leave during negotiations with UFC a few years back (I believe ‘03-04 from his time frame), but ultimately said no.
