Calvin Ayre makes Dana White an “offer he can’t refuse”!

Calvin Ayre

Amazing things can happen when you combine money and ego. In a recent interview Dana White called Calvin Ayre a “criminal” and compared the billionaire owner of BodogFIGHT to Brewster from the movie Brewster’s Millions saying “he’s like that guy in Brewster’s Millions who is trying to spend all his money in 48 hours.” Well Mr. Ayre has fired back on his blog “Ayre Waves” making White “an offer he can’t refuse.”

Ayre will not be able to attend the next BodogFIGHT event, so he is offering to send his private jet (loaded with beautiful women) to pick White up where ever he may be. He would be brought to the event to sit front row. Afterwards he would receive a VIP evening that concludes with a stay at a 5-star Atlantic City hotel.

I’ve got to tell you this is an offer that Dana White most certainly will refuse. For all of his success in building the UFC and MMA into what it is today he still hasn’t learned one of the simplest rules of business.Â

When you’re #1 you never mention #2!

You will never see McDonald’s advertise why they’re better than Burger King. You will never see UPS mention FedEx. You should never hear Dana White mention other promotions. He does this in every interview. When asked about Calvin Ayre he should simply say “I don’t talk about other promotions” and move on to the next topic.

BodogFIGHT will get more publicity out of this than any advertising or free fights on ION ever could have brought them. Ayre should make an hour and a half special about waiting for White to show. I mean White did an hour and a half about Tito not showing up for their boxing match. Only on this show we would get to look at a bunch of hot Russian chicks crawling around a private jet instead of a 35 year old man pretending to get in shape.
